The company also offers custom splitting and combining products, which are used to distribute signals to and from antennas, radio transceivers, and power amplifiers in wireless base station applications; custom radio frequency backplane assemblies that provide connections of microwave signals between subsystems in wireless base stations; and hybrid matrix assemblies, which enable customers to reduce the number of amplifiers in their base stations. In addition, Anaren designs and manufactures advanced microwave-based hardware for use in radar systems, jamming systems, smart munitions, electronic surveillance systems, and satellite and ground based communication systems. It markets its products to original equipment manufacturers in the wireless and space and defense markets through a sales and marketing force worldwide. The company was founded in 1967 and is based in East Syracuse, New York. |
