It also provides content services, including integrating the content with its proprietary GUI software to produce a master content file for uploading to multiple players; and maintenance and refurbishment services. In addition, the company owns and licenses Flash-R portfolio of patents related to the use of flash memory in portable devices. It sells its products directly, as well as through value-added resellers in the United States and internationally. The company was formerly known as Norris Communications, Inc. and changed its name to e.Digital Corporation in January 1999. e.Digital Corporation was founded in 1988 and is based in San Diego, California. |
