| Eaton Vance Short Duration Diversified Income Fund is a closed ended fixed income mutual fund launched and managed by Eaton Vance Management. It primarily invests in senior, secured floating-rate loans; bank deposits denominated in foreign currencies; debt obligations of foreign governmental and corporate issuers; and mortgage-backed securities. The fund seeks to invest in other assets, including unsecured loans, other floating rate debt securities, such as notes, bonds and asset backed securities, credit-linked notes, synthetic lease financings, tranches of collateralized obligations, investment grade fixed income debt obligations and money market instruments, such as commercial paper and approved commercial mortgage-backed securities. The funds investment portfolio includes investments in companies operating in various sectors, including aerospace and defense, automotive, beverage and tobacco, cable and satellite television, chemicals and plastics, conglomerates, containers and glass products, forest products, healthcare, and telecommunications.
