It primarily serves banks, insurance companies, funds-of-hedge funds, corporate and public pension plan sponsors, trusts, endowments, and private clients. The company was formerly known as Knight Trading Group, Inc. and changed its name to Knight Capital Group, Inc. in May 2005. Knight Capital Group was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey with additional offices in New York, New York; Greenwich, Connecticut; and London, United Kingdom. |
