Electronics business develops, produces, integrates, and supports sensors, intelligence processing, and navigation systems; and power, power control, and ship control systems for commercial and naval ships, as well as performs as a prime contractor and integrating multiple subsystems. Ships business designs, builds, and refuels nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, amphibious assault ships, surface combatants, and nuclear-powered submarines. It also provides after-market services; and produces double-hulled crude oil tankers. The company was founded in 1939 and is based in Los Angeles, California. |
