The Romaco segment involves in the design, manufacture, and marketing of packaging and secondary processing equipment for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, nutriceutical, food, and cosmetic industries. Its packaging applications include dosing, filling, and sealing of vials, capsules, tubes, bottles, and blisters; tablet counting and packaging for bottles; blister and powder packaging for tablets and powder; and customized packaging, as well as secondary processing for sauces and semi solids. Robbins & Myers sells its products and systems through direct sales force, distributors, manufacturer representatives, and third party distributors, as well as through service centers. The company was founded in 1878 and is based in Dayton, Ohio. |
