Additionally, it provides commercial services comprising metro and intercity SONET and Ethernet-based transport services, co-location services, and high speed Internet access services, as well as commercial transport products and services to large enterprise and carrier customers. As of December 31, 2008, the company provided its services through direct sales representatives, customer care representatives, and its e-commerce platform to approximately 428,000 residential and small business customers in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, New York City, Boston, and Chicago.
