News from the EV universe - Worksport Ltd. (Nasdaq: WKSP) continues to forge a greener EV future by announcing a finalized design of the industry’s first environmentally friendly and almost fully recyclable hard folding tonneau cover.

Synaptics

With Electronica 2022 exhibition kicking off today, a silicone company known for its differentiated technologies that can be integrated to enhance our digital experiences, Synaptics announced this morning it launched KatanaConnect™ .

KatanaConnect™ is the industry’s first miniature wireless AI vision and audio system on module that enables rapid implementation of AI sensing features fo battery-powered IoT devices.

According to Vincent Fan, Vice President of R&D at Ampak, the integration of Katana and connectivity on a single module lays a path to incorporate low-power AI into a range of products, from home automation and beyond.

AutoNation

America's largest and most trusted automotive retailer, AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN) announced this morning it now owns a 6.1% minor ownership stake in TrueCar, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRUE), securing its place in the digital automotive marketplace.

Worksport 

An innovator of automotive aftermarket accessories and off-grid energy solutions, Worksport Ltd. (Nasdaq: WKSP) just announced that the design of its forthcoming TC3 hard folding tonneau cover, a first of its kind, has been finalized.

  • Like Worksport’s other creations, it will be available on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart Marketplaces.

  • Unlike other tonneau covers, TC3 will be environmentally friendly and almost fully recyclable.

  • TC3 will be made using over 90% recycled material and it will be free of toxic sealants and adhesives, Styrofoam and single use plastics.

After two-years of careful planning, Worksport is now in complete control of its production and sales pipelines as it added a new facility this year and developed an eCommerce site, while simultaneously expanding its workforce.

An update regarding its highly anticipated COR mobile battery generator is expected soon. Worksport’s products are expected to significantly transform the marketplace due to their mobile solar power generation and storage capacity.
