【商業英語】旅行公幹遇不適 求醫點開口?(Frankie Chan)
旅行或出外公幹時,帶備一些必備藥品是常識吧,誰能保證旅程中不會有些小毛病?但是,如果出門時身體感到非常不適,那就一定要到當地的醫院或診所就診,千萬不要為省錢而耽誤治療。而在外國看病,最關鍵的,就是能準確描述自己的病情與症狀。
因此,我們必定要學會怎樣以英語表達自己的不適。本週為大家帶來於診所、醫院看病,以及在藥房買藥的情景對話。萬一閣下真的不幸地在外地生病了,也可及時就醫,藥到病除。
求診實用句式
I need my medicine for my cold(感冒)and fever(發燒).
I have a rash(疹)all over my body.
I’m constipated(便祕)for a few days.
I’ve got a terrible cough(咳嗽)and a pain(痛楚)down here in my chest.
I’m coughing a lot(經常咳嗽).
I have a history of asthma(哮喘).
I have difficulty in breathing(呼吸困難).
My upper chest hurts and it gets worse when coughing.
I feel a sharp pain(刺痛)around my lower chest.
I have a running nose(流鼻水).
My throat is dry and sore(又乾又痛).
I suffer from a bad cold/cough.

D: Hello. What’s the matter?
P: Good morning. I have a terrible ache(疼痛)in my lower back.
D: How long has your back been bothering(煩擾)you?
P: I’ve been having pain for the last couple of weeks.
D: Do you have any history of back problems?
P: No, this is my first time.
D: Are you taking any medicine at the moment?
P: Just an aspirin(阿司匹靈) from time to time to kill the pain(止痛).
D: OK. Let’s have a look at your back.

P – Patient D – Doctor
D: Well well well, that’s a pretty serious infection(感染)you have there.
P: Yes, is there anything you can give me to get rid of it, doctor?
D: I’m going to prescribe(開藥)some antibiotics(抗生素), and some cream(藥膏)to ease the itching(癢癢) and burning(灼傷).
P: Thank you. Where can I get them?
D: Go to the pharmacy(藥房)on the 3rd floor. I’ll send the prescription(藥方) down there, so you can just pick it up on your way out.
<藥房買藥>
P – Patient C – Chemist
P: I have a terrible cold and a headache. Can you suggest something I can take to relieve the pain (減輕痛楚)?
C: Are you allergic(敏感) to any type of medication?
P: I don’t know exactly. But I think I should be fine with most of the meds.
C: In that case, I recommend this brand for a quick relief(快速止痛) .
P: Does this really work?
C: According to the label, yes.
P: What about headache tablets? Can I get penicillin(盤尼西林)?
C: Sorry, you have to get a doctor’s certificate(醫生證明)or prescription(藥方)for that first.
P: Well, then, I’ll just get some aspirin.
C: Sure. Please read the instructions carefully on how to take it.
P: Thanks.
