Constellation Stock Soars. Microsoft to Tap Energy From Three Mile Island.
Microsoft will tap into one of America’s most famous nuclear plants to satisfy its growing need for electricity for the data centers it uses to power artificial intelligence. The tech giant announced a deal Friday with nuclear plant owner Constellation Energy to receive energy from the Three Mile Island nuclear site in Pennsylvania. Constellation stock soared 15% in recent Friday trading.
