Walt Disney and DirecTV have reached a deal to end a two-week stalemate between the content provider and cable company, they said in a joint statement. The deal comes after a dispute that has kept channels ESPN, ABC, and other Disney-owned networks off DirecTV since early September. The spat began when DirecTV declined a new carriage agreement with Disney, which led the legacy content provider to pull all of its programming.
