xAI has its sights set on creating the world’s largest supercomputer, and the Elon Musk-founded artificial intelligence company has selected Memphis, Tennessee, for its site.

TVA to retire Kingston fossil plant by end of 2027
Power supplier Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has decided to retire its Kingston Fossil Plant and build an energy complex at the site by the end of 2027, the company said in a press release on Tuesday. The company plans to shut down all nine of Kingston's coal-fired units. The energy complex will house natural gas, solar energy and battery storage at the location, the release said.
