Apple has built a sprawling ecosystem of products that all work together—from the iPhone to the Apple Watch to the iPad. At its Worldwide Developers Conference in June, Apple announced a partnership that will launch later this year with the Buy Now, Pay Later company. Affirm’s payment products are expected to be available to Apple Pay users in the U.S. Shortly after, Apple scrapped its own Buy Now, Pay Later service barely a year after it made its debut.
