First Solar stock surged on Wednesday to its highest level in more than a decade as solar stocks rallied.
First Solar stock surged for a second straight session Wednesday, driven higher by optimism that artificial intelligence’s demand for power will help the solar company gain market share. On Wednesday, the stock surged 16% to $246.73, on pace for its highest close since 2008 and making it the top performer in the S&P 500, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
